You have to do it. You have to get reasonably comfortable with your driver. This is sometimes a frustrating thing for the beginner golfer and I would love to give you a good beginner golfer tip. Just do it.
Using your driver off the first tee with people watching you can be intimidating. It just takes time and practice and more practice and more time. You can find some good cheap drivers right here.
