could easily start with putters. I know what you may be thinking, putters and putting for a beginner golfer is not that exciting. You may be right. Many websites that say they have golf tips for beginners will gloss right over the fact that putting adds many many strokes to your game. Putting is also something the beginners can practice at home.

The main tip on this page is to buy a good cheap putter. You can get a good cheap putter from Ebay and it will be all you need for the first year or two. I am sorry that I waited when I first started. I borrowed an old putter from a friend of mine and it was just not me. Since I bought a new one, I have been able to putt much more consistently. I am still very much a Beginner Golfer, don't get me wrong, but I did learn that having a 'better' putter helped a bunch!
